WHO I WORK WITH

Real operations.
Real responsibility.

Built for operations investing $100,000 or more annually in insurance. When your business supports families, employees, and a supply chain, your strategy needs to see the whole picture.

01

Large family farms

Pork · Dairy · Row crops

An operation built over generations deserves a plan built around how it actually runs. Bring your livestock, facilities, equipment, people, and contracts into one conversation.

Talk about your operation
02

Feed manufacturers

Production · Storage · Distribution

Your customers depend on what leaves your mill. Look closely at equipment downtime, product liability, inventory, and the ripple effect of a production interruption.

Talk about your operation
03

Short-haul trucking

Local routes · Regional fleets

Keep the focus on your drivers, your customers, and the next load. Build a clearer picture of fleet exposures, claims trends, cargo, and the cost of risk.

A MORE THOUGHTFUL RENEWAL

Your renewal strategy
starts with
your operation.

The policy matters. So does the work that happens before you choose it—and after it’s in place.

Let’s look at the bigger picture
01

Understand the business

Start with your facilities, people, contracts, and plans for growth. Identify what a serious loss would mean for your operation.

02

Build the renewal strategy

Review coverage, loss history, and risk-control priorities. Prepare a clear story for the insurance marketplace before renewal pressure sets in.

03

Keep the conversation going

Revisit the plan as equipment, locations, employees, and exposures change. Make claims and risk management part of the ongoing conversation.

MEET YOUR ADVISOR

Tanner Coulter.

A personal relationship.
A business-first perspective.

Tanner Coulter wearing a Martin Insurance polo

I work with owners and leaders who have reached the point where insurance is more than a policy purchase.

My focus is on large family farms, feed manufacturers, and short-haul trucking operations with six-figure annual insurance spend. The goal is straightforward: understand your business, make informed coverage decisions, and approach renewal with a plan.

Through Martin Insurance, I bring a personal point of contact backed by an independent agency. It’s a relationship built around the operation you’ve worked hard to build.

Tanner takes a practical, business-first approach to insurance. He works closely with owners and leadership teams to understand where the business is headed, identify the risks that could get in the way, and build an insurance and risk-management strategy around those goals. That can include coverage design, claims management, risk control, market positioning, and evaluating when it makes sense to transfer or retain risk.

Tanner is part of the team at Martin Insurance and serves clients throughout Indiana and the greater Midwest.

Outside of work, Tanner and his wife, Hope, are raising their two young children in the Muncie area. He enjoys spending time with his family, following Indiana University sports, and staying involved in his local community.
